Until we can climb from under the rubble only thing I can think to do is do good to those around me when I can. Expect and prepare for the worst. Take it a day at a time. And DON'T GIVE THE TROLLS WHAT THEY WANT.

At this point, I'm not sure the US will survive before that can happen. It's going to get worse. A lot worse. It will be decades before we recover, and we'll never be the same. Blood is not out of the question (and some respects, has already been shed).

If we ever have a hope from clawing back from this pit of insanity, it'll have to start with regaining control of the messaging. Fox, Newsmax, and their ilk need to be taken down (which will be hard to do when only they have broadcast licenses and PBS/NPR is fully defunded).

The only people we have left to "do the right thing" are the ones that say "no" when ordered to carry out an immoral decree. So far, too many have been too giddy to comply. There is no hope there.

The only legal messaging is being concentrated to propogandists leaving the cult to never need to second guess their choice in Emperor. All evils will come from the Other, and only King Troll will save them.

When King Troll became president, we lost any meaningful tools to fight. Purges have emptied the experts, the professionals, the checks on power. The sane people have been pushed out. Democrats are useless as ever. There will be no accountability.

MAGA doesn't have an ideology or morality apart from trolling and pissing off people they hate. They win when you react with disgust to the crimes, even when it hurts them too. Too stupid to learn, too petty to care, too insulated from reality to be saved.
