Where does this "geometries in three shades of gray" North American paving obsession come from? It's literally the standard paving in 95% of new public spaces, from St-John's to San Diego.

I think they're vaguely interested.

I now fundamentally believe that the bad reputation that Italy has for corruption compared to, say, US or Canada, is mostly due to the fact that Italians recognize it, call it by its name, and prosecute it, while other countries have simply legalized it, de iure or de facto.

It's funny how thin-skinned so many men of (some) power are.
