On this day in 1998: February 4: Heavy metal legend and frontman of Judas Priest Rob Halford came out publicly as gay.

In an interview with MTV's Superock, Halford said: “I have been a gay man all of my life, and it's only been in recent times that it's an issue that I feel comfortable to address."

Disabled son of ICE detainee dies after 30 days of hospitalization It had been months since Wael Tarabishi seen his father. The family is calling on ICE to release Maher Tarabishi so he may attend his son's funeral.

In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died on Friday at age 30.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t get to say goodbye.

Also in September 2021, Island Health received a report concerning E.W. from the doctor who conducted her initial MAID assessment, who determined that: · E.W. had requested MAID, but was assessed as ineligible because she was incapable of providing the requisite consent; · if T.W. learned that E.W. was ineligible for MAID, he planned to carry out the Death Plan, which he referred to as a “dignicide”; · E.W. had recently expressed that she was not ready to die; and · due to E.W.’s cognitive impairment, associated with the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, she was a vulnerable adult at risk of abuse and neglect. I think that what "seizure-free" means is also opinion. Does seizure-free mean to someone they are no longer epileptic? Does it mean to someone they're epileptic with seizures under control? Refractory or not? Does it mean a day without?

I do stand-up about my epilepsy sometimes (officially year without a seizure btw!)

My colleague and I wrote about how harmful Danielle Smith’s new anti-trans policies would be for ALL youth. Don’t think this is only an attack on trans youth—it makes all children more vulnerable.
