I did Always briefs the first couple of days, I was terrified of accidents. Now I have the under pads on the mattress in case of accidents. I haven't had one but they make me feel secure. Better a tinkle accident than a fall rushing to the commode. I can wash off right after.

My ortho appointment is on Thursday the 11th, my sister should be able to accompany me. I'm super hopeful I'll be able to bear even a little weight after and slowly build normalcy back. I don't need to salsa dance, I just need to stand with confidence in my kitchen and bathroom.

Proof of life! I'm still confined to my apartment and mostly my bed island because I can't bear weight on my ankle but with each day I gather more mental and physical strength. I tested out of OT, and PT will be back on Tuesday so I can practice roll/walking before going to my ortho appointment.

It’s weird how this doesn’t say “oops we accidentally pushed out/incentivized to leave/fired” a lot of engineers and it turns out engineering projects need those.
