* travel interuption (leaving train along route to continue later) is no longer allowed!
* zone tickets are no more, no more unlimited local travel in tarrif zone on a return ticket

Tickets must be liked to your Train+ on purchase! This will probably solve the bahncard style double ticket check. And oh.... it is an actual QR code not an UIC barcode??

* SNCB connection supplements on international travel have a Train+ off peak version now.

Price table for NMBS starting 15 October 2025.

@maartje I made a pricing table for second class in the past, for a normal single ticket not a lot changes at the moment, but many off-peak trips can become cheaper and not that far of from the Standard Multi price of € 10,30/ride atm.

What is the most expensive single trip you can make on the SNCB network:
Arlon-Oostende
October 15 standard: 20,90 (2nd) 33,40 (1st)
October 15 weekend: 14,60 (2nd) 23,40 (1st)
Train+ peak hour: 14,00 (2nd) 22,40 (1st)
Train+ off-peak: 12,50 (2nd) 20,10 (1st)
Train+ weekend: 8,80 (2nd) 14,00 […]

Train+ is liked to your OV Chip… euh MoBIB or digital aztec code or paper aztec code.

On ask of VRT SNCB says they want to work on integrating TEC/STIB/De Lijn but are being ghosted.

Interesting takeaways are the maximum tarred of Train+ holders:
* 14 euro max per trip
* 5.50 euro if you are -26 or 65+
