Corsi-Rosenthal boxes are so cool

Emphasizing "low-cost" & "dramatically improving air quality." There are no air cleaners that come anywhere close to a classic CR Box wrt effectiveness of particle removal and effectiveness per $. And there are abundant studies by research teams across the US that have come to the same conclusion.

After at least of month of meaning to do it, I have finally remade my C-R box with new filters.

Gabi was not a very good supervisor. It's all somewhat askew. It'll work, though. I used plenty of duct tape.

The problem is now that with COVID, infectious disease spread has become more complex. Also, the flu injection this year in NA and AUS was not a good match, still some protection but there needs to be much more awareness in how infectious disease spreads. We simply must clean our indoor air.

Here in Oregon, the allergy capital of the U.S., you’d think we’d be using HEPA filters in classrooms or have class projects building Corsi-Rosenthal boxes, due to year round pollen—if nothing else.

Yesterday was the 4th anniversary of Chloe's passing. I still miss her every day. She was such a brilliant and loving companion. As with each year at this time I have posted a few photos in this thread. Note that this first one was taken when we were parked outside a coffee place (not driving).
