I literally only played these because they were star ocean and xenoblade.

I'm the first.

I also don't particularly like xenoblade 2. Although in my experience xenoblade 3 is worse.

Most things I could tell were imaginary but I wasn't so sure about that one.

The gamebook that traumatised me most as a kid was Beneath Nightmare Castle, as it put the idea into my head that comfy armchairs were mimics and you fell asleep in them because they were draining your life.

The monster looked slightly like the stage 5 midboss.

I went to a special showing of guillermo del toro's Frankenstein tonight. It was nearly a full house again, and was pretty dang epic!
I really felt for and even related to the 'monster'. (And in some shots it was kinda pretty. )

fun fact: I have played a shit ton of Phantasy Star Online (and Phantasy Star Universe), for someone who doesn't like it.

Its also a good game, just a terrible Phantasy Star.

also good Dreamcast games but TBH they're on everything else by now and I wouldn't choose the Dreamcast versions:

- Shenmue 1 and 2
- Grandia 2
- Skies of Arcadia

Dreamcast isn't a format I use a lot but here's the games I love on it:

- Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 (worth getting the originals for maximum chao garden and VMU minigame shenanigans)
- Evolution 1 and 2 (very underrated)
- Time Stalkers (very underrated)
