Howe doesn't trust any we have seen that this week. Arsenal's 22 is amazing. Nwaneri or Skelly start in the premier league for most sides outside of the top 4 as 18 or 19 year olds and as you say they're 3rd choice in that position. We can't compete with that (YET)

Totally agree you need 2 for each position and 3 youth fringe players pushing for position in the squad as a minimum. We've got 1 left back & 3 right backs. One keeper (ramsdale is on loan) and the midfield position isn't like for like when you lose a Bruno or Joelinton out of the XI.

Yeah but if you want to be the best you've got to have a squad capable of going deep on all four comps. Like City,Arsenal and Liverpool etc we're trying to do it now and it's impossible with our squad

Agree we've got the glamour tie we wanted against Barca that and the City cup game are free hits IMO.Summer needs to be slick transfer business in and out. Keeping a bigger squad/top players happy without any European football maybe the only issue I can foresee.

I'm going to enjoy what's left of this season and try not to set expectations, we've been up and down all season. I don't expect Europe next year and if we somehow sneak it then that's happy days but I won't be worrying about it anymore and neither will my bank balance #NUFC

My only issue was having only 10 subs and 3 goalkeepers should be blooding more academy players on the bench in a game that's practically over anyways. Even if it's just to let them see what being with the first team is all about

We can't do anything with SJP until after Euro 28' as we're hosting games so I'd imagine we'd only hear about a new stadium before then if it's in a new location

Some players got a rest, some got minutes in their legs and we've given debuts to two academy players in the knockout phase of the champions League. All positives in my opinion. Yes the game wasn't the best but we're 8-1 up after 5 minutes
