Two quotes from her Instagram post are featured: one says, “People who say they are Christian and want to cut SNAP, Jesus said to feed the hungry,” and the other says, “Imagine slashing SNAP, the program that helps children in the US not go hungry, while sending billions in weapons to another country to kill children.”

The complete inversion of morals on the right is not surprising but it's still shocking. Imagine being on the side of intentionally starving children.

No we used to have so much more, the realism thing is a recent (increasingly boring) fad 😭

I think a murder mystery where you are solving your neighbor's cat's murder is far more interesting, but it is not inherently more or less cozy than a mini painting idle game.

The proposal of experience is vastly different, both are cozy. Cold inside the game, cold outside of it.

Cozy games aren't just a single genre. Many builders, farming, survival, crafting, makeover, simulation games exist in a wide array of coziness.

Because what the player is seeking is gonna vary wildly, but they are seeking to be cozy in that moment.

While this point strikes true at a lot of issues with cozy games (but not, you know, THE issue), I would counter that it misses the point of coziness:

The game is the blanket, real life is the cold outside. A cozy game that doesn’t have the "cold" in its world isn't more or less cozy, it just is.
