What looks like an alien starship visiting a small country estate in eighteenth-century Germany is in fact, *checks notes* a giant pomelo. So nothing to see here, #skystorians

When the hurricanes do come, and they most certainly will, will he be responsible for their destruction (like an ancient Irish chieftain dispatched to the bog on the back of a poor harvest)? I think not.

Hands up if you have ever been in an Irish maternity context where you didn't think "wow, they could REALLY do with at least twice the number of staff in here".

Nobody?!

Ages ago I saw on TV a similar thing from England where the car ended up impaled by the rear on a fence. The police arriving were ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ IIRC it was an older gent driving and something to do with automatic transmission - after that Iโ€™m foggy. But it was baffling like this.

Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog Pasta (1998-1999): Canned pasta in a tomato/cheese sauce from Franco-American, shaped like weapons, a castle, and a dragon from the short-lived Fox Kids action-fantasy series from Saban, which was set in ancient Ireland

The first time I heard someone playing PE on a cassette downstairs, a few days into college in first year, the noise was like an air raid siren. The urgency, pay attention. Then you get Chuck Dโ€™s authoritative tones. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

I think this proposal merits more research. A trial period with live feed webcam. Publicly accessible archive of the test subjects response.

Your kids watch stranger things season 4 and they are like โ€˜ohhh Eddie is so funโ€™ and you are like โ€˜I WAS LITERALLY A TEENAGER METALLER WHO PLAYED AD&D IN THE 80s AND MY HAIR *ALTHOUGH FINE* NEVER LOOKED THAT GOODโ€™

I mean it was Ireland so we never had the Satanic panic, but still. Triggering.

Introduce yourself with 5 animals youโ€™ve seen in the wild:

Dolphin
Hummingbird
Vulture
Wolf or Coyote (still unsure, probably a Wolf)
Pheasant (a few weeks ago. In my mid-fifties. Driving through the back roads of North Dublin, there in a field I saw my first pheasant)

Yes. One of the key artists in the Seattle-based Grunge movement, Burroughโ€™s early โ€™90s work went on to have considerable influence on Post-Modernism in the โ€˜70s, and, some scholars assert, his technique can be heard echoing in the Beat movement of today. Or something.
