I finishing scheduling out my semester and it looks amazing. Multiple blocks of time weekly for writing. Regular work outs. Weekly lunch dates with hubs. Got a couple of DIY projects in mind. I’m not hating it.

They say you don’t 100% feel like yourself following pregnancy for like 2 years. My youngest is 3 & I’m just starting feel like I used to & I really blame it on work being a sh*t show the last year+. The light shining towards my upcoming sabbatical has been EVERYTHING mentally & physically.

Our kids being car riders is a major inconvenience. It shortens my work day (the part on campus without them). And, I appreciate the privilege of that being a choice. As a school/pediatric psych our kids will NEVER. Many social issues referred to our clinic have something to do with the damn bus.

I do not care that you are not “surprised.” Please. You have no idea how tiresome it is when you post that something horrible, fascist, authoritarian is “not surprising.” Nothing is “surprising” anymore. But a lot of it is horrible and frightening. Let’s deal with it together.

It is pretty noticeable that even as mainstream opinion on Israel and Gaza finally shifts, you don’t hear the Responsible Adults apologizing for punishing all the college kids protesting the atrocities. Quite the opposite in fact!
