The Dennis Allen hire also gives me more confidence in Ben Johnson making the transition from coordinator to HC. Allen can effectively be the HC of the defense & Johnson doesn’t have to worry about micromanaging that side of the ball.

That’s so important for a play calling HC.

Everyone is high on Ben Johnson in Chicago…but the Bears made another hire that I think is significant and flying a bit under the radar nationally.

-Gabriel/Sanders are rookies
-Watson is a non-factor

Insane.

That all being said, the Browns having 5 QBs on the roster and none of them being immediate trade assets is wild.

At the end of the day, Shedeur is a Brown and they picked up cornerstone guys and another first rounder next year on top of that.

Seems like a net positive for Cleveland overall.
