I need your help! We're reformatting the tier guides for the library stacks. We've got the basic template down, but there are a couple of anomalies that no one can decide on, so which one's read the clearest to you?📚

Started off the second in the "Carl" series, I love how the world of the dungeon keeps expanding, while sticking to a basic outlined structure, really well thought out!

I somehow never noticed what this food truck on the way to work was called, idk whether to be amused or horrified!🚀😅

There is a bit in this one where a whole arm comes off and there is no blood, it's mental!

I thought there were some great gags, but the general dialogue was terrible and the characters were voids bar the one guy, and the effects were just so bad, so it kept taking me out of it. I think it probably works better as a series of TikTok videos🤷😄

These two are the best, love Paradot so much!😄

Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025):

Inside me there are two wolves, one thinks this is a bunch of fun that plays with the series rules & keeps things fresh. The other thinks this is poorly written trash with awful effects & no stakes.
Both make valid points & in the end I think it's okay 🤷

I know I'm creeping up to 40 because my work bag is full of pills now!😅

I am the same with my horror writing though, I get far too into the characters and their flaws as people to focus on being "scary" I'm sure cliche horror would sell more, but I just can't write for someone other than myself. I just have to hope that time will be on my side & what I create will last!

I'm back at the library today and it was nice to walk to work in the sun after ten days indoors. There are a whole new bunch of tasks laid out for me to help with my arm, mostly data entry, which I haven't really done before, what fun!😄

Admittedly, I don't really read Romance beyond the occasional 1800s romantic poetry, but if I did I would hope the men in it would be more like this because, well because it would be more romantic in the true sense of the word. A slab of beef with control issues doesn't sound all that appealing!😅

Re-listening to Avril Lavigne's album The Best Damn Thing, no hate but is it the origin of the "pick me girl" thing?

Every song is some mix of "you're the most special guy", "I'd love you forever but you don't even know" or "other women are trash compared to me!" I still love the album, but damn!
