More people should know that write.as exists.

Ultimately, we face too much daily spam from non-paid users that make it hard for our small team (me, @baer.works) to do much of anything besides fight them off. So temporarily closing Free accounts is the easiest way to slow the tide a bit. I'm sure we'll open up Free accounts again in the future.

Write.as Pro Write.as Pro gives individual writers all they need to write, publish, and reach an audience.

After that, you can always get a free account by asking an existing user for an invite.

Otherwise, you can support our independent publishing platform by subscribing to Pro! (write.as/pro)

Yes, it's probably due to not having a full-size preview image. If you're a Pro user, you can also upload a large default image under the "Social Image" customization section, which should help.

This is entirely on Mastodon's end, as far as whether or not the attribution shows up.

Try entering your @ handle in the Verification field. When you save it, it'll convert it into the URL, but it'll also make sure the fediverse:creator tag is there.
