The next build of Gobbo's Cookie Run will take a little while longer. Most if not all platform configurations will need to be changed to accommodate a new feature involving a certain crab from @jocat.net's subathon and his favourite food: fried potato pieces.

Lots of black particles rise from the grassy ground, obscuring some of the grass. Above these particles are many platforms, as well as dashed outlines shaped like platforms with coloured bars inside them that look like miniature platforms. Some platforms are yellow while others are light blue, and the same is true of the coloured bars inside the dashed outlines. The platforms and dashed outlines are arranged in horizontal lines of two and each pair arranged like this is identical. The pairs themselves are arranged in a diamond lattice formation. Chocolate chip cookies hover above two of the dashed outlines with yellow bars inside and one floats below one of the light blue platforms. High above the platforms is a fairy with brown hair tied in a neat bun and wearing a red top, skirt, and shoes, as well as a large-headed green goblin jumping from one of the topmost platforms to another. In the top-left corner of the image are four lines of text. Update: Second set of timed platforms, bonuses if you collect enough cookies in a row without touching the ground, penalties if you collect too few, enemy knockback scales with how many times you get hurt, reworked platform generation, and updated help section.

Known bug with this build of Gobbo's Cookie Run:

Occasionally, when standing in front of a chest, Gobbo's running animation will play despite the fact that he is not moving. This may prevent the player from storing cookies in the chest.

Update: Game now saves your sound and controls preferences after you quit and tracks the total number of cookies you've collected, but now you have to store the cookies in chests for them to count.

Gobbo's Cookie Run is a game I started making when I was inspired during @jocat.net's subathon this month. Right now, it's still quite basic and has a lot of placeholders, but I intend to keep working on it after the end of the subathon.
