Imagine having a disease that severely limits your quality of life but no one has heard of it, you can't work or get a benefit, and any help you get at the doctor involves hours of background research and advocating for yourself.

There's a deeper problem too though, in that institutional medicine has invented an entire pseudoscience that claims to magically enable them to make informed decisions about anything, without needing any understanding of real science (and therefore entitles them to power).

We had the same thing in Canada. I think there were some internal battles within public health and the people who screwed up and let COVID rip won out over the ones trying to be honest with the public, and they buried it as evidence of their culpability.
