Alla som tror att det bara är den privata äldreomsorgen som har problem borde verkligen prata med oss som har hemtjänst och behöver ha med kommunerna att göra.

Kommunerna beter sig också väldigt illa för många av oss. Både kommenes egen utförare men även handläggningspersonal mm.

Shame on Labour to be talking about overdiagnosis of mental health problems. Also simultaneously ignoring the mountain of research on neuro covid and the mental health issues known to be caused from COVID infections! We need urgent loud opposition to this. 🧵

@zackpolanski.bsky.social Please can you question Streeting on the research showing that Covid causes mental health problems. There is not over diagnosis of conditions like Autism, we now have experts who can identify it. So many are struggling and Labour are ignoring children suffering neurological

Covid is not a cold - with a cold, you don't usually see any long-term effects.

You don't see any changes in the blood vessels.

You don't usually see an autoimmune disease developing.

You also don't usually see neurological inflammation - these are all things that we see with long Covid.

He was sounding hoarse
so I asked
if he had been
following the news
about the Stratus variant,
but he just rolled his eyes
and stated that he
had stopped
following the news
about the virus years ago,
but alas it seemed clear to me
that the virus
was still closely following him.

Visited the dentist today.
Hygienist always wears N95 yo avoid infection. She complained that her boyfriend also works at a school in Ontario (like me) but he never masks, so he always gets sick and brings it home.
I told her he should be masking to protect her.
She deserves better.😓

It’s because it doesn’t fucking work, Sharyl. Ivermectin doesn’t treat COVID.

There’s backlash for the same reason a doctor would face backlash for prescribing leeches for Ebola.

Good and bad news for Zack Polanski: the Green conference was a joy, but now hopes are stratospheric | Adam Ramsay Members loved hearing from a leader who boldly reflects their views and isn’t afraid of the rightwing press. How far can he take the party?, says journalist and Green party member Adam Ramsay

🚀 @greenparty.org.uk has grown from 58,000 members in December to 86,000 today.

Six years ago, consistently polling around 2%. Now, above 10%.

Green councillors leapt from fewer than 200 to nearly 900.

Green MPs from one to four.

This is the beginning.

I'm very concerned about all the #GlobalSumudFlotilla detainees, but especially Hannah Schafer, who seems likely to be held in extended detention in Israel. Israeli armed forces have committed grave and multiple breaches of international law in attacking the flotilla and mistreating its crew.

Disappointed but not surprised that the only person not wearing a mask at the packed Long COVID exhibition event in Vancouver yesterday was the doctor who runs the pan-Canadian Long COVID network. I guess “masks required” didn’t apply to her.
