Skógafoss Falls

Having a blast in Iceland, though the clouds at our rental have kept me from using the telescope. We did have one evening where the kids got to enjoy aurora while in the hot tub, but it clouded over before we got in. Not complaining though!

Pretty happy with first light with the new scope, I took pics of 4 targets to test it, gathering minimal data on each. In order: Comet C-2025 A6 Lemmon, the Andromeda Galaxy, the North American Nebula, and I finished with the Heart Nebula.

For such a little scope, I'm impressed!

But long before that show premiered, he was a decorated Second World War pilot who flew over 50 combat missions in Europe and had to learn to walk again following a crash.
