I can’t imagine the horror those people and their families felt on October 7. It was not war, or even terrorism. Yes, it was both those things, but it was just cruelty for the sake of cruelty.

And I awe at the strength of those who survived and who may still survive as hostages since that day.

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

Torturers.
KKK.
ICE.
Taliban.
Terrorists.

We are also the only country (Somalia ratified in 2015) to NOT ratify the ‘Convention on the Rights of the Child’
