When you block someone on here, they are completely cut off from you and you are cut off from them. No RT brigading, no intact replies for others to see. It just says “blocked” like the entire interaction was nuked. It’s extremely effective.

Also you’re required to occasionally post sexually suggestive photos of Alf.

Most folks on here post like old school Twitter, but there’s a separate BSky subculture. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to use this space for kink but tbd.

The biggest is that there isn’t really a concept of “private” posts on BSky; the feeds are open and transmit across integrated platforms. There’s also a ton of self moderation tools including “the nuclear block.”
