I’m in the middle of changing to resolve from premiere so I’m not sure when when it will be done, but I thought this was kind of fun.

Retcon is live!
Several years in the making. It’s crazy to think about how fast the time has gone. Very grateful to be able to contribute, and to connect with so many great people through this music!
Thank you!

30.01.2026 17:11 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Interesting, I do use those sites a bunch. I also don’t plan on using the VPN 100% of the time, but still good to know.

25.01.2026 15:27 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I dont need anything super elaborate. I’m mostly looking for a balance of good privacy/security and performance.
Thanks for the ideas!

I’m window shopping for a VPN. Does anyone have any recommendations? The ones I’ve seen come up the most are Proton and Nord (with Mullvad being an honorable mention), but I don’t know if I’m being hoodwinked by big VPN.

On a related note, part 3 of the #famitracker tutorial series will be live tomorrow morning! This episode discusses how I simulate reverb and delay inside FamiTracker.

Buddy and Art Blakey were gone a bit too early for me to see live, but I regret not seeing Elvin, as he’s one of my favorites. It’s so important to see the masters up close, and awesome that you were able to!

23.01.2026 13:33 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Cool, thank you! I’m actually playing drums (my main instrument), but the lead guitarist does play a tele.
We only did a few gigs the last 2 years, but are looking at 2 tours for 2026. The crowds have been awesome!
Glad you enjoyed the finger style stuff. I may do some more of that in the future 🙂
No, that was super informative — thanks for all that info! I love guitars that cover a wide tonal range like that. The idea behind it is a pretty great one. I appreciate the intel about which years are most sought after as well. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled to see if one pops up. Thanks!
23.01.2026 02:10 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I always wondered about why they called it that. Yeah I’d love to hear about it and see it!
21.01.2026 02:30 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 9 📌 0A good set up is always a good idea! I’m not super familiar with their quirks, but they’re very cool instruments for sure. Hope you enjoy it, and thanks for the kind words!
