I find that horror is more important in times of unrest.

Many people prefer the horrors of fiction over the horrors in the real world.

In fiction, there's an end. There's a resolution. There's closure, no matter how horrific.

We don't get that kind of comfort in the real world.

growing up reading fantasy books led me to believe that I'd have a lot more instances of finding a hidden diary in my house that transports me back to an ancient land of adventure and whimsy, and I've never really gotten over that betrayal

So like I'm trying to get more into less known/practiced types of art (compared to writing and drawing) like collage, stop motion, etc and I thought to ask if anyone here has any recommendations? ;)
