Quilt designed to look like a loose-leaf notebook page. Hand-quilted text reads: He has: Obstructed the administration of justice; Erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance; Excited domestic insurrections amongst us, protecting them, by a mock trial, from punishment for any crimes which they should commit on the inhabitants of these States. Pretended legislation: - Cutting off our Trade with all Parts of the World; - Depriving us, in many Cases, of the Benefits of Trial by Jury - Transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended Offences

This is the third "notebook quilt" - a small series of ~50" x 60" quilts that look like doodles on a page.

I call it "Notes on American History." The quilting lists some of King George's wrongs described in the Declaration of Independence that apply to the tyrant in the White House today.
