We were pleased to welcome two local Scout groups to our centre for a museum take over day, funded by the Heritage Youth Partnership.

Spending the morning immersed in our collections, they then spent a creative afternoon redesigning our exhibition & exploring new ways to share survivors’ stories.

This Hanukkah menorah from our collection once belonged to the Bradford Jewish Refugee Hostel, a home for young refugees who fled Nazi persecution.

We hope the Hanukkah lights bring you warmth and comfort wherever you are.
