Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, gun reform, universal child care, and a living wage.

Yeah, the Democratic Party has to do something drastic. The house & Senate minority need to step aside and bring in the fire power of people like AOC Jasmin Raskin McMorrow Warren people who have the fire or the ability to communicate. And we need to be UNITED/SIMPLIFY in messaging & collective $.

They really need to start naming the mass shootings after Republican members of Congress.

Watch closely: before the evidence is in, the political accusations will start flying. Because why address root causes when you can put on another episode of America’s favorite rerun?
