Also alert your publisher and agent if you have one. Write to your local MP. We must keep pressure on government at this crucial time to safeguard creative rights. In the days before clouds, emails etc, Jilly Cooper once left an entire manuscript on a bus. It was never recovered. Though I constantly curse technology, it does sometimes serve us well. Glad you got your folder back😀.

Southern Water (yes, they're still a thing...) recently announced they were going to pay out millions in compensation to Hastings residents affected by water shortages last year. They also announced a hike in water bills.

They giveth with one hand and taketh with the other...🙄

I don't watch the show, but I really enjoyed the 40th anniversary documentary. Lovely to see Anita Dobson back in the Vic recalling some of those brilliant scenes from the early days.
