I found my guy when I was having a dental emergency a couple years ago (for reasons stated above, haha.)

Had to have been fate. Awesome guy, great Bedside manner, does one of the best regional blocks of anyone I've ever met in any discipline.

To all the med students and residents, a lesson I've learned and have been paying for the hard way:

Go to the dentist regularly. If you need time off to go, go while you're on my rotation cuz I understand.

Not sure if it was absolutely intentional, but it seems to me like Cormac McCarthy wrote it in such a way to intentionally slow the reader down to absorb the scenes and dialogue.

Absolute page turner. Have to force myself to take breaks.
