The Swaledale Mutton company, a small family business. We supply top quality prime mutton direct, and also run Sheep Keeping courses for smallholders!
Yep.

Simple as that.
Yorkshire going well...

I went to Foyles in Charing Cross 2 weeks ago, involving 2 trains, and Tottenham Stadium on Saturday, using 3 trains, and coming home a long walk and bus. I also saw nothing other than lots of people getting on with their own lives.
23.07.2025 19:43 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I go to the heart of darkness every now and again, too.
Sometimes for work. Most often, it is for pleasure.
Can confirm.
I imagine if you had a Lamb under your arm no-one would have nicked it, as they might not have known what it was!
23.07.2025 18:56 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0But, but, I hear London is a vile, lawless hellhole where the decent in society dare not venture?!
Could it be that certain people are telling us lies to advance their own causes?
I for one am shocked! π²π²π²
What I did see was lots of ordinary people (of various races, colours, religions etc) getting on with their everyday lives. Shopping, walking children home from school, running stalls, making deliveries, visiting the hospital.
23.07.2025 18:49 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Yesterday I had to go to London with my other job.
I went on four separate tube trains, and none had top to toe graffitti.
I had to go to Whitechapel, and I was not mugged, murdered, raped or had my rolex stolen.

20.07.2025 08:56 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0As Jay said, many of the #BethesdaDeclaration signers will meet with him on Monday. And oh boy are we prepared!
While not every signer was invited, we worked together and with our colleagues across #NIH to bring our concernsβand evidence to back them up.
Buckle up, this will be a long thread. π§΅
So who is using him to create fake polls to try and misinform the electorate?
19.07.2025 14:41 β π 7 π 4 π¬ 0 π 0He has quite a prolific history of posting anti-labour rhetoric:

He is also very pro-reform:

Here is the record for that company at Companies house.
The accounts for last year show Assets of Β£42, and I doubt that will get you an opinion poll.
There is one Director, one James Giles, and it seems he is an "independent" Councilor for New Malden, and 25 years old.
@donmcgowan.bsky.social
Here is a strange thing.
"Find Out Now" have been running a lot of polls recently, and without exception they show higher reform % and lower labour % than any others.

They ran one on the 9th/10th July on behalf of "MultiComms Ltd".
Wow.
One of mine- not the bonfire guy- just left. Windows, doors all wide open. No notice, just walked out and left most of his stuff behind. Including a cupboard full of used colostomy bags.
Agent refused to go and secure it because the law was on his side.
Me too!
19.07.2025 13:36 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yep. Many years ago I had to have a police car parked nearby as one tenant moved out!
19.07.2025 13:36 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Yup. Itβs all so easy to some, never really thinking though all of it.
I do get the criticism in ideological terms, and there are lots of bad landlords, but as you say, nuance is key.
Iβve also had 2 separate tenants trash my place. On stated a fire on kitchen floor and kicked off all the doors.
Pffft. Grow up.
19.07.2025 12:52 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Too many people see the world in black and white when it never is. The format of twitter/Bluesky, with short posts, exacerbates that somewhat but everything in life has nuance!
19.07.2025 13:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You canβt appease this lot. Iβm with you. Iβm a great landlord and my previous landlord was almost saintly.
Too many are bad, and that needs changing, but my tenant would never get a mortgage and this lot would have him homeless. π
