The methodology is poor, and the analysis badly flawed

The paper does not show what the authors claim.

They make rudimentary errors in their methodology and analysis (especially with their flow cytometry), misunderstand the basics of the immunology and misrepresent the impact of their findings.

There are issues with it in modern research that people need to be aware of, especially using the single count method, as they did.
BD have stopped official support for them now...

That paper does not show what they claim, partly because they misunderstand their own data, and partly because it is badly designed and analysed.

The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.

Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.

But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.

This was the Captain Samuel Vimes 'Boots' theory of socioeconomic unfairness.

Anyone familiar with Terry Pratchett will be aware of this.

Very important to completely annihilate the climate along with energy affordability so we can power the Mistake Generator that will fire everyone.

Great idea not to mention that the entire saving was made in the year ending March 2025, two months before Reform took over.

The paper also makes the common mistake of using subset percentages. Their absolute count data does not support their claims, and is not used to provide context to the %.

They needed the advice of a flow cytometrist...

The paper doesn't show lasting immune dysregulation. Their methodology and analysis are wrong if they want to look at those things.

You are right that there is a subset of people trying to equate Covid with AIDS...

Unfortunately, not very carefully. They used three independent cohorts, this is not a longitudinal study. There are many more elderly in the infected group. The results very clearly show the numbers of immune cells recover fully. They are also functioning very well as shown by many other labs.

08.12.2025 21:53 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 5    ๐Ÿ” 1    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The paper DOES NOT show lasting "immune compromise".
It DOES NOT show lymphocyte dysregulation
And Long Covid is current infection
