on research published with us as "Electricity, Agency and Class in Lagos Colony, c.1860s–1914" being recognised with 2 prizes at the recent 2024 Joint ICOHTEC-SHOT 2024 annual meeting at Viña del Mar, Chile

A heavily battered cardboard box measuring 18" x 6" x 6" (~46 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm). It is covered with shipping labels and tape, which it accumulated during its five-month round-trip journey from Kansas City to Chile.
Cutting through the tape on the outside of the cardboard box, we open it to discover several plastic bags containing hundreds of royal blue lanyards. Closer inspection of each lanyard reveals an alternating pattern consisting of the SHOT, ICOHTEC, and Linda Hall Library logos printed in white, along with a message indicating the lanyards were meant to be worn at the ICHOTEC-SHOT 2024 joint meeting.
On Jun. 28, 2024, the Linda Hall Library mailed a box of lanyards to Viña del Mar for the 2024 @shothisttech.bsky.social meeting.
They arrived in Chile on Jul. 5 but were held in customs for over a month before beginning the long trip back to KCMO. We received them on Mon., Dec. 2.
