My coworker and I were watching gameplay today and it looks amazing. Can’t wait to jump into it.

It is one of life’s great mysteries.

Halo night was top. Me and my friends did Halo: CE nights with 4 Xbox’s (all you could network in that game) and play 16 player all on 4 screens split in 4. The two teams would be in separate rooms. Nothing will top that gaming memory for me. My apartment neighbors didn’t like it so much sometimes.

That game is so damned good. Loved every moment of it.

Dude I totally understand this. I’m an audio engineer and have superb hearing where I can hear the tiniest details. But with my ADHD I just don’t hear when someone is talking to me. My brain just doesn’t process. You are not alone. Proud of you for accepting it and working towards bettering yourself

Learning this is my wife’s love language as well has made my relationship with her amazing!

I remember this time with my kids. I actually took a vacation to really help them focus and get it done. The cleanups never stopped. Good luck and hopefully it won’t take too long.

Also I’m about to hit the paralysis of decision. Friend of mine passed away like 4 years ago and his family just let me know I could have his GSC army. Now I gotta figure out how I’m going g to paint it. He had it all assembled but no paint.

As a perpetual nerd and geek it has to be Donny. I mean he does machines!

I totally get that. I repainted my entire Tzeentch Daemon army because I wasn’t feeling it. Took a year to strip all of them and get them back up but now they look awesome. I hit those hobby slumps. That’s why I sign up for tournaments. Forced me to get something done.

I have the strong anxiety too. I go in waves so I turn off notifications while I’m on down time like I’ve been for the last couple months. I just turned them back on while I feel up to socializing. Do whatever you need and only one up to interaction when you’re feeling it.

The boring meeting is over. I love my job damn I swear I’m going to fall asleep on them one day. Now I’m going to peruse here since I left my switch at home……….. So how ya’ll doing?

As a full time audio engineer I can attest that most people severely underestimate how important audio is. You doing tests and making sure you sound good is a testament that you are going to sound great!

As someone of the inclination of high anxiety I get it.

The group is what makes the format great. It’s hard to get a game where you are all on the same power level and aren’t going to get stomped. I play for fun and there are definitely people at my store I don’t play with. You unfortunately have to just get some games in with them and hope it works out.

Oh yeah. The actual puzzle mechanic of the game is mind twisting and well thought out, you gotta think with portals after all. But it’s one of my most highly recommended games. Amazing from top to bottom and isn’t super long.

Exactly. They have to drop data somewhere to get it to stream easier. Dynamics is the first thing to suffer. If your music service has any kind of high quality or uncompressed setting it’ll help a lot. I can’t play mp3s in any kind of large setting or else it sounds like mud.

Also when compressed the overall dynamics are squashed. So there is a theoretical limit of how loud you can play the music and after that it sounds squished and compressed. Apple Music has a setting to use uncompressed audio if available. It makes it sound way better but uses more data.

It’s is affected by it. Most of the services have compressed the music to take up less space and easier to stream. Uncompressed is one for one audio capture. CDs used a format that was full range audio capture while mp3s compressed it for streaming.

Portal blew me away when the story shift happens. I still think it’s one of the best narratives and stories in any game. The way they wrote GLaDOS was brilliant. Watching my son play it for the first time and get to the twist was so enjoyable to see.

This meeting is so long and boring. And I forgot my switch!

I’m a big MP3 player fan. I’m an audio engineer and the move to online music streaming is super hard for me. I own over a TB of music in .WAV format. Uncompressed music to play on giant stadium systems. I miss my Zune.

My laugh turned into cry pretty quickly ok this one.

Definitely have to try it. The homemade style is also delicious but the street style tacos are the best. On this the holiest of Taco Tuesdays I will be getting some for lunch today.

They really are. I’m in the land of amazing tacos So Cal. My favorite taco truck come a to my work every other week. Next Thursday I’m buying in bulk.
