Not actually true David. Population estimates for skate are increasing πharbour health is best itβs been in a decade. Itβs naturally v low in DO. Aquaculture in MH now subject to nitrogen cap etc. They are being bred in captivity too. I can send you links to latest publications if you like.

No salmon expansion has been proposed for the harbour, and UTas has recently found the population estimate to have improved to 2014 levels. I can share the link if you would like to see the latest data.
