The Central Challenge in Explainable AI: Channel Capacity
Explainable AI is about communication: we want to tell people how or whya machine learning model is making certain decisions. Why is this sodifficult? In this post I take an information-theoretic pers...
When reading a large literature, it is really helpful to have opinionated opinions that help to categorize papers.
One of mine for explainable AI is that methods need to address a fundamental limit in how much information can be communicated.

Welcome to the Data Mining and Machine Learning Book โ Data Mining and Machine Learning Jupyter Book
My maternity leave project is now somewhat out: I made a jupyterbook about the basics of ML, that I teach at TUE. You can check it out here:
sibylse.github.io/TUEML/intro....
The linA part is not yet formulated out and there are other todos, but maybe it helps someone with their own course design ๐
