So my autistic 13-year-old made some fan voice-acting clips inspired by her favorite creator (no ads, no profit, just love) and got copyright strikes. We’ve emailed, no response. I get protecting IP, but I hope creators remember empathy matters more than control.

Remember kids, before you put factually inaccurate information out on the internet, maybe take a second to ACTUALLY look it up. Just because we didn’t have the words to describe autism at the time doesn’t mean that autism didn’t exist.

A big problem with a brain that travels at Warp 9 with brakes made of pudding is that it is generally assumed that we aren’t paying attention if we are doing more than one thing. That’s not necessarily the case. We need to get that energy out to help pay better attention.
