For clarity: she wasn’t trying to profit or repost, just recording a few lines out of admiration. It’s a fan thing, not theft. We just want empathy for kids who create out of love.
I’m a musician, artist, and author. I get protecting IP, but this feels more like restricting fans than preserving art.
So my autistic 13-year-old made some fan voice-acting clips inspired by her favorite creator (no ads, no profit, just love) and got copyright strikes. We’ve emailed, no response. I get protecting IP, but I hope creators remember empathy matters more than control.
