When I lost interest in narrative, I lost the stories of my own life, I couldn’t fill the holes in the plot. I started to tell the stories again, piecing them together from what others had told me, their remembering was my remembering. The telling is all.

Alleged wolf tormentor Cody Roberts taking plea deal in Wyoming animal abuse case The Sublette County man charged with felony animal cruelty for allegedly bringing a wolf into a Daniel bar plans to take a plea deal. Roberts will likely face 18 months of probation and a $1,000 fine. He would not be permitted to hunt, fish, drink alcohol or enter bars during that time.

🚨Latest news: Cody Roberts, the man who brutally tortured and killed a young female wolf, is seeking a plea deal that would result in just 18 months of probation and a $1K fine.

For an act of extreme cruelty, this feels deeply inadequate. Wolves and wildlife deserve better.
