I am beginning to think about #BISA2026.
If there are any @mybisa.bsky.social scholars whose work focuses on diplomacy (including but not exclusively ECRs), please get in touch and let's put something together!

Great to see that this co-authored work with Giuditta Fontana is now out!
If you are interested in Playful Learning or Using LEGO in teaching Political Science and International Studies, this is for you!

I will be presenting on a couple of panels at #BISA2025, discussing current co-authored projects with Carol Buxton, Scott Edwards, and Giuditta Fontana.
So if you are interested in space (and trust), Track II diplomacy (and trust), or LEGO (and Playful Learning), why not come along?
I am excited to be involved in this event. If you are free, why not register and join us, from the comfort of your own home, for what will be a fascinating discussion on trust and international relations.
30.04.2025 08:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Monday is going to be a "relatively busy" #PSA2025 day! I will be presenting some co-authored work with Jonathan Pettifer on Trust/Trustworthiness as Norms to be Contested.
Come along if you are free. @trust-ir.bsky.social
Looking forward to presenting some co-authored work with Giuditta Fontana on using #LEGO in teaching at #PSA2025.
If you are around and interested in the idea of using interlocking plastic bricks in your own teaching, come along and hear what we did and what we learned!

A belated sharing of my first article with the Conversation.
Given everything that has happened since it was published, I cannot quite work out if it is more or less relevant than two weeks ago.
Final preparations for #ISA2025. It will be my first trip to the US since 2022 (and second overall). Organising my schedule is proving difficult as there are so many excellent panels and roundtables. Spoilt for choice!
These in particular look very interesting (I am very biased).
See you there!
