It’s apparently OK to shoot unarmed people who definitely don’t want to be shot. But consensual sex is where many see fit to draw a hard line.

It doesn’t make sense because making sense was never the point.

Don’t remember any direct quotes, but there were plenty of goofy takes from the fellas.

I think that one was about how a lot of us cut our hair so short (think Black Caesars, Fades) due to an inability to accept our own hair textures. Pretty sure it started because of a video a young woman posted wherein she addressed men who tried to dogpile her in the comments of a different video.

Embarrassing people who don’t know how to #read does not help them learn how to read. If anything, it discourages them from even trying.

I’m not a #teacher, but I’d be interested in guiding an adult literacy course (maybe at a #library where people can learn for free).

At the beginning of June, someone very dear to me was killed (& the way I found out was very jarring). It’s partly why I was so determined to experience joy this Summer.

I’ve mostly processed it, I think. But it has completely changed my perspective on many things — especially human connection.

Are you a friend to those who are friends to you? When people show up for you, do you show up for them? Do you know how it feels for another person to be your friend? Do you think about how you want being your friend to feel?

If I am startled, but I have old gads that I need to use up (you know how it is with hand-me-downs), I should probably say “a-gads,” for the sake of clarity. I would hate to deceive anyone.
