After this week, any press reluctance to challenge the bald faced lies of Noem, McLaughlin & co. should be changed for Good.

I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

Analyzing Trump’s lawless use of the military without focusing on how it might enable his authoritarian project at home is really naive. It’s like the people who were wowed by Israel’s attacks on Iran and Hezbollah without focusing on Bibi’s precarious domestic situation.

This has been a very hard year for people who believe in this country. And next year may even be harder.

But we're still on our feet. And we aren't going down any time soon.
