Did Trump start a war to distract from the fact that the Epstein files contain allegations that he raped a child? Sure looks like it.....and hiding the documents related to the incident doesn't exactly make him look innocent.

May they rest in peace. And may Congress prevent more senseless deaths by shutting down Trump's illegal war.

This certainly violates the "wall of separation" between church and state. I don't think bombing Iran and starting a war in the Middle East to bring about the "end times" as described in the Book of Revelation is something that Congress should permit.

In these days of the Internet and LLMs, the concept of "Cliff's Notes" seems almost as quaint and antiquated as Dares and Dictys—and I doubt most of my students have heard of them, either!

Yes, Dante, Boccaccio, Chaucer, and Petrarch knew the Trojan War story mainly through Virgil and the (pseudo) eyewitness chronicles of Dares the Phrygian and Dictys the Cretan. I tell my students that these works are sort of like the Latin "Cliff's Notes" version of Homer.
