If you want to be IRL factual, a boxer is retired if they announce retirement or don't compete for long enough to drop from rankings, so I think retired actually IS the correct word. It depends on if he'd rather call himself a retired boxer or find a new profession and call himself that instead.

If he gets a new job, then he just switched careers! Not retired yet!

I love trad art. Especially beautifully inked with a specific mono palette. They can be so damn pretty, which these absolutely are!

I've had a few I was hyped for which hit good, but they all ran like garbage for like the first month until they got 2 or 3 big patches lol.

I managed to play a little of it yesterday and I was having so much fun. It's actually been years since I enjoyed a brand new triple A title this much, AND it runs like a dream at max on my very mid-tier PC. Fun AND optimized? In 2026? Capcom blessed us.

If your story's good, and your presentation and flow are good, the style really isn't even that important. People who write these things have a pretty shallow comprehension of what makes a comic popular. Not to mention the percentage of success which ultimately comes down to luck.
