Mr. Jams doesn't like animals at all. When his neighbour's daughter leaves her little black kitty with him to babysit, he finds the kitty just as bothersome as the little girl next door that never leaves him alone. He wakes up one morning to find the kitty nowhere to be found. Mr. Jams starts to search frantically for the little black kitty.

Mr. Jams has never fancied animals but all that's about to change when he meets a little black kitty.

#writingcommunity 32 pages is the norm for PB books but after doing some research, it says that it *can* exceed that amount to 48 pages. For those querying PB, do you feel agents will be OK if the story goes beyond the norm? #writer #question

#writingcommunity I've used #canva to make my own book covers, which I'm proud of, to use for pitch events. I see a lot of people saying we shouldn't use AI images etc. Respectfully, if I ever decide to #selfpublish, I don't need to hire someone to create a cover for me. #amquerying #writer

Saw a post on Twitter that said instead of saying "rejections" look at it as "not my agent."This morning I got 3 rejects when checking my email while on break. I'm going to change my excel sheet from "rejected - Feb 19th 2026- to "Not my agent - Feb 19th 2026"
