A pack of mild Spanish chorizo
The biggest mistake I made in staying on my healthy path last week was in not having a batch of soup in the fridge. Boy, it makes a big difference when life gets complicated and you need a weeknight dinner.
So, I’m back on my Sunday Soupmaking bullshit.

Salsa verde is so easy to make. You toss “ in canola or avocado oil, broil until charring, turn, char some more.
Let cool. Throw in a blender, add salt. Blend until smooth. Taste. Add white vinegar or lime juice to taste. Salt if it needs. More chili if it’s lacking heat. Blend again. Voila. 🍜🍽️

Just do a raised garden bed if you want. You'll end up with one anyhow, trying to amend the clay. Make sure there is drainage - a wee ditch full of gravel leading to a larger, deeper area full of gravel. A layer of fabric and dirt over that, some grass, and voila, mini french drain!

Paths act as drainage, all sloped to an end channel that leads out to a few fruit trees in the yard. Lots of peat moss, manure, compost >>
