Learning to create in an existing STYLE isn't stealing it's literally the format of learning. Artists do studies all the time & discover their own style by replicating existing styles first. That is not stealing. Using Ai is not the same thing. Clear you've never learnt a creative skill before.

Got a newly cast set of Lovers ring. Should I keep them bright and polished or oxidise them? And what stone. The same or different? Thinking they would work as a set for a couple.

Impractical ? Yes. Do I love it? Also yes. Woodland inspired witchy ring with two stones. Moonstone and Moss Agate.

We have a 8mm moonstone in one side. Thinking a moss agate in the other.

Currently scientists are studying neurodevelopmental disorders by injecting human tissue into rat brains.

I was imagining this and thinking of how cranium rats begin as normal scurrying Norway brown rats, until they encounter psionic energy given off by eldritch powers; then they form hive-minds!

Test cast arrived. It's been oxidised and polished back (might need a tad more). Now I just need to decide on two stones. Working name " As above, so below". I love the idea of having two stone and just turning the ring round when you want a different vibe.

Really digging the craggy, raw feel of these mountainous rings, so I carved another. This time, it's reversed, polished shank and rough oxidised face, with a #garnet preform inclusion. #silverjewelry

I think just recycled silver for this one as its a test and not one of the more costly stones. Oxidised on the shank and then high shine polish on the face. Once my carving skills improve I might look into some more expensive metals.

Thanks, and yeah! I'm still working out my preference when it comes to process, but I have a load of random stones to use, so this would be lost wax cast, as a one off. I wanted to keep the form simple, but still intentional and considered.

Working on my wax carving. Goal was for the shank to feel carved from stone, high polish flat face, large semi rough gemstone. Was torn between my herkimer diamond & polyhedral preform garnet. Settled on the Herk for this one. Might have to do my answer to a Dwarven Ring of Power at some point. 🪨💎

About to test cast a branchy, witchy tree ring.

Playing with some new ideas and simpler forms.

Finally settling on an illustration that sums up the things that inspire me.

Also been thinking about textures and shapes that might work with a dodecahedral garnet I have.

Not sure what's the right route, once I have worked that out then I can change fonts and lock ups to more considered options.

Do something nice for yourself every day, like taking a little nap, or searching forgotten tombs for the buried bones of ancient forest gods and crafting a cursed but very striking necklace.

Three WIPs for some branding. I'm still not sure about any of them. Being decisive is something I am working on.

Thanks Toby, and to everyone who has replied! These were very early concepts, font, etc, are not final at all. Just wanted to try and gauge initial reactions. Have done some very quick and rough adjustments to give these a more locked up, intentional feel.
