An image of the corner of Quinpool Rd and Elm St in Halifax, facing Elm from the entry to the Irving station. A plow has left a large pile of heavy snow across the entirety of the sidewalk leading to the street crossing.
Once again HRM abandons pedestrians to their own devices. My already bad back is unhappy after the trudge through our βsidewalks.β
And a deeply sincere & hearty βfuck you,β as always, to Irving on Q-pool: Not only do they never clear the sidewalk, they always block it with their plough. #halisky

To feel the wind on your face as you skate quickly around the rink is an experience all kids should have. A new 11-year-old skated with us today at #LearntoSledge. They said it was "the best ever". A crossing of a multiuse path where it meets a residential street. On both sides of the street are signs that are still covered in plastic bags but a bit of one is uncovered enough to show that it is a crosswalk sign.
A narrow, crumbling sidewalk next to an overbuilt road with 2 wide lanes. The sidewalk is partly covered in leaves in the foreground. In the background, the crumbling part of the sidewalk has white spray paint around its perimeter.
It seems there are things in process that BikeHfx has begged for for years & has been told werenβt possible.
1. Crosswalk on Springvale at the COLT crossing.
2. Spray paint on the CN bridge sidewalk at the 102/Bayers Rd.
What else is possible that weβve been denied??

When writing video captions, caption words the way it is commonly written, especially when a word is spoken phonetically. For example, if someone says "N-double-A-C-P," write NAACP. "Eight or nine hundred" is more readable as "800 or 900."
