Decided to encourage myself to play the original FF7 before dipping my toes into the remakes.

Silksong is genuinely one of the best games I’ve ever played, so that means I gotta doodle some fanart! I really wanna finish as many pieces as I can, but I’ll post whatever sketches/WIPs I feel like along the way. First doodles done, had to go with imo the most hype moment so far!

There is a frustratingly prevalent mindset in music that you can not make good art without the right gear and tools. And it’s sad to see how much of a learned helplessness there is in it. Most tools used by pros are designed around workflow preference, not some magic bullet

being gaslit into thinking i don't understand what i'm doing and need some other dude's approval before I can consider myself great has genuinely taken years of development from me so don't let anyone do that to you, truth is you'll never get that approval from them anyway so just do it for yourself
