Not even optimistic tbh. I am pretty down on the team after that game but it really wasn’t a huge shock that the Suns would not roll over in their home opener. And the Kings took too long to solve the issues. It is what it is.

-Kings had like 5 turnovers in first few minutes of the game but finished with only 13
-Dennis looked tenacious on both ends of the floor
-Doug discovered Cardwell is the rebounding fix, albeit too late in the game
-Demar won’t miss 5 free throws again
-Team played with heart
-Game 1 (on the road)

To be fair they did disrupt the offense a fair amount after about 6 minutes into the game. But the Kings have had plenty of decent looks since then too.

Seriously though, the doom and gloom is rampant rt now (understandably so) but the team, although disjointed is still pretty talented and theoretically without distractions so maybe it won’t be as bad as everyone fears.

If it affects your general wellbeing then it’s perfectly okay to step away. I will stop watching if it affects me more than that night (outside of playoffs). I can’t say I condone switching teams but to each their own.
