500,000 People have returned home to Syria.
After 14 years of conflict, half a million Syrians have made it back home to Syria.
Not without challengesβbut with hope. Their voluntary return is a reminder: with the right support, recovery is possible.
UNHCR is gravely concerned by the rapidly increasing number of Sudanese refugees crossing into eastern Chad.
Nearly 20,000 people β mostly exhausted and traumatized women and children β have arrived in the past two weeks alone.
In a region racked by war and displacement, South Sudan is on the brink.
