I used to have a cat that suffered crystals as well. It's not something I'd mess with too much, BUT - the diet for this is really hard on the kidneys. One thing I do wish I had tried was raw. Apparently it works well. I fed my dogs raw in the morning only, and they are SO healthy on it.

Heated gloves saved the day when my car wouldn't start in-30C. And while I appreciate the warmer weather, my body does poorly with the 20 degree jump. Can't function, send help.

This is so, so frustrating, knowing that there's a possibility that things could have gone so much better for Alberta.

Mood. (It's sooooo nice to be home after 7 weeks of house sitting, but oh man, all of us are crashed.)

Driving downtown #yeg in the first decent snowfall sounded awful so I opted for the train. The way there was great. Later regretted it on the way back when we ran into multiple people smoking crack in the pedways. I'm not a city girl anymore....

I am especially amused to read this while sitting on the facilities myself.....

(Yes, of course they're ok with dogs in the car. They have three which are all going to be in it tomorrow, too.)
