After that, he will have 4-6 weeks of IV antibiotics at home.

Hopefully he comes home tomorrow, if the hospital can get his last test scheduled for today. If not, he’ll stay through the weekend and get scheduled for Monday, then maybe come home Tuesday if his scans and tests look good

Woof, this has been a rough week. Partner was admitted on Wednesday evening because his blood cultures came back positive. He is being treated for a blood infection now, and need many tests to make sure his heart isn’t infected

He’s got a UTI most likely. His pain is under control and they’re getting him on antibiotics. Fingers crossed he’s not in DKA and we can come home together tonight 🤞🏻
