I appreciate that, but Gordon is the gold standard of consistency in this league. Tough to beat. It was nice to see a few guys improving this season from last. Makes the league that much more fun.

This has happened to me more than once on two different airlines. In both cases I reported the smell to flight attendants. In one case there were several of us in the rear of the plane that expressed concerns. I never felt like the concerns were taken seriously.

But yes, Life and Fate doesn't get the credit it deserves. A very open and candid look at wartime in the Soviet Era

On the 81st anniversary of Stalingrad I'd like to recommend this wonderful book if you're looking to understand more about why the airlift failed and more importantly...the faulty logic that led up to it.

A short thread on the Munster Raid of 10 October 1943 and the portrayal of it by MOTA. The show clearly states (at 11.30) the aiming point and MPI is the marshalling yard in the town. You can see it bottom centre in this clear weather picture from the day of the raid.

Czech Republic President Petr Pavel announced the delivery of 800,000 rounds of 155/122-mm artillery ammunition to Ukraine, worth €1.5 billion.

“If there are no fundamental problems, the ammunition could reach Ukraine within a few weeks,” he said.

Very disconcerting

On 28 October 1943 46 RTR's attack, supporting 38th Irish Bde, was postponed for 48 hrs because the ground was unsuitable as a result of days of heavy rain. 50 RTR reported that "the whole area was now like a morass". Both wheels and tracks struggled; in places only mules were able to get through.
