Just streamed for a friend to ease myself into it, which made it very comfy to yap while gaming.
It was fun! Went for 2 hours and could have gone for more.

Work in progress summary/previews of the last week. One Lyzander sketch inspired by yesterday's civ stream where he was being particularly pouty. The preview on the right is the rendering process for my own community mascot sheet; With different possible colour iterations for each viewpoint.

Spring banner inspired chibi. 2d. stylised. Flayon X Machina. Stuck quite closely to one of his more casual fit models for this one but added some patterns, accessories and the flowers. Probably the one that gave me the most issue for flower choice. I ended up going with red jewel Helichrysum for one of it's meanings; Eternal life. And for how it is known to thrive in harsh conditions. It felt fitting for the red pilot's lore.

Spring banner inspired chibi. 2d. stylised. Banzoin Hakka V1. One of my favourite outfits that I cobbled together for this project. Hakka's more casual outfit model has a bit of edge to it which I tried to bring into this as well- May or may not have referenced a pair of my own boots and trousers for this though... Balloon flowers were picked last-minute. I originally went with roses because I picked up somewhere those were his favourite... And then the unholy trinity raft collab happened where he had decked himself out with balloon flowers for the thumbnail, so I pivoted.

Banzoin Hakka V2 After posting the balloon flower version I found out that roses were indeed his favourite flowers, so I went hunting for the OG layers in my back-up files. Took me a bit but found them and promptly finished a version of this with the roses too. So he got two.

This one went through multiple pose and outfit iterations; But I was intent on including the back jewellery since it's something he mentioned he was fond of for one of Ravanis' cover song illustrations. For the flowers- I once again took a peek at the June bride illustrations for that.
