Got some programming done on stream last night and I'm happy I was able to get to a good result with my twitch chat!

For the new year, I told myself I'll start putting extra effort into things.

Even if I say it's done, there's always been another step I could've taken. I want to take that extra step this year.

2 more days of work until my big fancy promotion. It's comforting to know that I'll be put into a more busy position, but I wonder if I'll miss the bits of free time I get for myself.

I tried their blueberry pancake one and the aroma was POWERFUL! It's good coffee!!

I got promoted at work yesterday!!

It's not like any other promotion too. I got a new role that would have taken me 4-6 years of experience in 1 year. I'm feeling super accomplished 💪

There's like 1 or 2 itty bitty bugs, but aside from those, we are moving forward!

I'll fix those up and get wake up speeds and eliminating enemies next 💪

Got the camera up and running, Enemies can be hurt by platforms then get up over time, AND SOOOOOUUUND!

New game dev impossible challenge!

So magically, the enemies collision box isn't rotating with the sprite 🙃 Not entirely sure why, but I'm sure I'll put 2 and 2 together.

This is a super fun little project utilizing basic platforming with similar mechanics to existing games so it's nice to jump into for an hour and make some new parts here and there.

Obviously buggy and still using tons of templates, but you get the idea... I think lol

Haven't talked about this project anywhere, but I'm making a twitch integrated Mario Bros for a specific imp related VTuber.

The plan is to have the enemies be pulled from chat messages and actively update messages while they are on screen.

BIRTHDAAAAAAAAAY

It can handle 1 parameter (Thing 1) BUT the moment you get the 2nd one in there, it's a problem only in the actor.

I'm trying to rework my code for a new level and oh my god this nonsense.

For some reason I can't run commands like !command (Thing) (Thing) if it's a separate class, but if it's in the level, it works wonders.

It's one of those if it ain't broke don't fix it kinda moments 🫣
